On Thursday 27 February (7.45pm) our guest speaker will be senior ESPNcricinfo correspondent George Dobell.

George has written for Spin magazine, The Cricketer as well as The Guardian, The Times the Birmingham Post and he has also has contributed to Wisden.  

He played a major role in establishing the Cricket Supporters’ Association in 2017 and is a strong proponent of supporter representation at the highest administrative level of the game. “One of the problems with professional cricket,” he says, “is that it’s run by people who have forgotten what it’s like to pay to watch.”

George also collaborated with former England and Warwickshire batsman Jonathan Trott on his 2016 autobiography ‘Unguarded’.
