On Thursday 26 October (7.30pm) our guest speaker will be Essex CCC Head Groundsman Stuart Kerrison.

Stuart has been at Essex CCC for almost 40 years having joined the club in 1984 on the youth training scheme. Seven years after his arrival, Stuart was appointed Head Groundsman at the age of just 23, at the time he was the youngest Head Groundsman on the county scene.

Stuart will be joining us to discuss the challenge of producing good cricket pitches with a good balance between bat and ball.
