Really pleased to say that we’ve arranged for Simon Lister, author of Fire in Babylon: How the West Indies Cricket Team Brought a People to its Feet, to come and talk to us on Thursday 11th February 2016. Simon’s book is included in the fourteen books recently announced in the longlist for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year.

Fire in Babylon charts the period from the mid-1970’s to the early 1990’s when the West Indies dominated world cricket. For a flavour of the period check out the trailer for Fire in Babylon, the film which inspired Simon’s book.
