Our guest speaker on Wednesday 4th November 2015 (7.45pm) will be former Glamorgan CCC bowler Malcolm Nash.
Malcolm Nash
Malcolm is immortalized in cricket history as the man who bowled the over which Notts CCC captain Garry Sobers hit for a record 36 runs in 1968 but what many people may not be aware of is that Malcolm Nash was a very accomplished first class cricketer. In a career stretching from 1966 to 1983 Malcolm took 993 first class wickets with best bowling figures of 9 for 56. He was also handy with the bat and scored over 7,000 first class runs which included two centuries and 25 fifties.
